Just south of Santa Barbara it all came to an end with the smell of over heating brakes !!
Its been a long day and a dissapointing way to end the trip, so its time to console ourselves with a couple of cold Coronas and see how things look in the morning !
overheating brakes would not happen to us - freezing cold here today. You made the bulk of the journey with little more than interesting incidents though so you can relax and enjoy not driving for a bit.. If you are a memebr of the RAC, they promise to get you home - that would have saved a lot of shipping costs..
ReplyDeleteGood idea ! Picked up a hire car last night so going to explore today and tomorrow before the flight back in the evening! wow its nice to drive a modern car !!
ReplyDeleteSo to some it all up - what was the best bit or day for you all? I found that when I looked at the larger map and clicked on Traffic then clicked weather, I could see how wonderful it all was (in the later stages) looks like a brilliant day today too.
